At Naisy Textile Art we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We are Naisy Textile Art, a small company producing high quality, beautiful greetings cards based on original textile artwork designed and created by artist Naomi Lodge. Naomi also creates bespoke artwork designed to celebrate life’s most precious moments.

Personal Information We Collect

  • Device Information

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.   • Order Information

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

We will collect information about you when you subscribe to our newsletter or send a message through our contact form.

 

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, Order Information and Other Information as listed above.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the information that we collect to:

  • Fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). 

  • Communicate with you regarding any queries you may have raised.

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud.

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records for as long as we feel is necessary for the relevant purposes, unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

 

We may share your Personal Information with third parties to help us with completing tasks and providing services and products to you on our behalf. We work closely with various third party providers in order to create, sell and deliver products, these parties will only ever be given the essential information they need to carry out their part of the deal, and no more.

 

For example, our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Device Information

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). We do this to find out what parts of our site, and content of our emails, are of most interest to you in order to keep them informative and relevant.

When you provide us with any information, you do so at your own risk, however we do take steps to ensure it is kept securely. Our site is SSL secured meaning that any information you submit is securely done so via HTTPS. Once we have received your information, we do our best to make sure it is saved securely within our systems.

Your Rights

We will only contact you with email marketing communication if you have given us prior consent. If at any point you no longer wish to receive this from us there is always an ‘unsubscribe’ button at the end of an email which, when clicked, will automatically remove you from any of our mailing lists.

 

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.
